Millie's Pet Services was founded in 2017 by me (Vicky) and my mum (Shirley), both spaniel mad pawrents! Millie's Pet Services has been tailored to the doggy pawrent who lives a busy life but wants the best for their fur-kid and advice that they can trust. They want good quality products, with the ability to tailor food, treats and toys to their dogs' lifestyle and they want to have fun in the big outdoors with their furiends!

As an established buinsess, who has grown (and dare I say pivoted) through a difficult economic climate, we understand what it takes to build a loyal customer base and social media presence.

The Millie's Pet Services blog aims to answer every question that you could have about the services that we provide, the industry in which we operate and well anything that our readers would find interesting (aka ... we love to go on dog-friendly adventures)! That's why we review accommodation, training tips, suppliers of pet-related items, days out and even doggy exercise ideas!. My aim is to keep the overall feel of a lifestyle blog capturing our own dog-friendly adventures as well as being helpful to our own customers.

Our blog is supported by our social media presence and we focus primiarly on Facebook, and Instagram and our email list. All of which are steadily growing month on month. During the time I've been blogging, it's clear that social media is continually changing and we are too. This ensures we continually adapt to our customer's needs and can support our suppliers and peers with their campaigns too.

Product Placement

We often attend popups and events across Angus and further afield. Would you like to see your product in our goody bags at these events? We provide products to both cat and dog owners so can tailor our packs to suit our shared customer profile and aid with brand awareness.

Comps & Giveaways

Our content calendar includes campaigns such as our annual 'HUGE' Christmas Eve Giveaway. We can either collaborate on our regular annual giveaways or we can create a new campaign tailored to your own product or service.

Stockist and Links

We can either provide links through to your online shop or use our own online WooCommerce shop on our website. This has the benefit of being able to easily place your products in front of our readers as well as being able to stock in our Carnoustie high street shop too.

Blogs and Vlogs

We love to review new products, holidays, dog friendly venues and days out. We know that our readers love our reviews too as they are packed full of helpful and honest information from price and quality to ease of use and overall service. Millie always provides a top tip!

Reader Profile

Millie's Pet Services typical reader and customer (primary booker) is a Female between the ages of 25-44 and lives in the UK. They are fur-kid mums and dads who care about the dog food and treats that they feed their dog and they feel guilty leaving their pets at home. They want to ensure they can enjoy their time with them when not at work.

They may not always love the outdoors but they want to do the best for their fur-kid and they love spoiling them. We share a passion. A passion that is 100% focused on the four-legged family members. That's why they choose Millie's Pet Services time and time again.

Our readers are predominantly based in and around Angus and Dundee but we regularly have pawrents travelling from afar as Brechin, St Andrews and Fife due to the range of treats and accessories that we stock. And even fruther afield to hire our Luxury Dog Friendly Campervan - Harley.

I appreciate a good visual photograph and a great video sequence. However, they should enhance a product/service review rather than be the sole focus. My blogs will review the full experience with quality writing, photography and videography supporting that visual content.
