Description

What is a Snuffle Mat?

The snuffle mat is a homemade toy that provides the dog with an opportunity to sniff and search for hidden treats. The snuffle mat consists of fleece strips tied on to a rubber/pvc mat with holes in it. The loose ends of the fleece are on top and provide the hiding spots for the treats.

Who is the workshop suitable for?

You’ll be surprised just how easy it is to make a snuffle mat, so there is no minimum age or expertise required. The hardest task will be choosing colours ;0)

So if you love your dog and want to take some time out to make them a long lasting toy that will provide enrichment – this is the workshop for you!

What Does the £15 Price Cover?

The materials required to make a snuffle mat include a sink mat and approx 1.5 metres of fleece which are included in the price of the ticket, along with refreshments. This first workshop is discounted from £20 to celebrate launching our very first diy dog toy workshop!

Do I need to bring anything?

Just yourself. Though we never object to viewing photos of your gorgeous dog too!

Can I bring my dog(s)?

Due to space in the shop and to allow all 8 workshop attendees to be comfortable, we don’t recommend bringing your dog along. That and we find the shop is like a sweet store for them and they can find it frustrating being asked to sleep while so many temptations are around for them.

However if you know your dog is happy to chill out in this type of environment, then do give us a shout and we’ll see what we can do ;0)
