As we are just going live - we are keeping things manual until we transfer the full website over to our new one later this year!
In the meantime - Check AVAILABILITY HERE drop us a message on social (FACEBOOK OR INSTAGRAM), give us a call on 01241 857893 during shop hours.. I'll be sharing availability and dates frequently here and online.
Once dates are agreed, I'll pop you a booking form and request for the 25% deposit.
I dont know about you but 4pm check ins and 10am check outs annoy me - I always feel I lose 2 days of my holiday!
That's why our hires work on a 24 hour basis for e.g. if you pick up at midday, your drop off is at midday.
Therefore you can choose anytime between 9am and 5pm to collect/drop off. It may be possible to extend your drop off timing subject to an hourly additional charge.
We love our furiends and therefore allow up to 2 dogs.
HOWEVER.... depending on how many of you are hiring, you may wish to take into account the breed and size of your dog(s) when booking. We'd be more than happy to advice and pass on top tips for travelling with your furiends.
Dont' forget you will all be travelling together between stops and will need to be able to do so safely but also if you have a rainy day, you will all want to be comfortable inside too.
Nope - the world is your oyster!
Well.. the UK is your oyster but remember to enjoy and not try to cover too much when planning your trip. You can always book again!
In the event of a cancellation by the hirer the following charges shall be incurred:
3 weeks prior to rental to no show: 100% of total hire charge and deposit will be retained.
6 weeks to 4 weeks prior to rental: 25% deposit will be retained
More than 6 weeks prior to rental: full refund
All hireres are advised to check their own travel insurance policy in the event of a cancellation by the hirer.
I'm afraid not. We'd always recommend taking out additional cover for your belongings.
Absolutely.
We'll allocate time once you arrive to talk through how everything works. A manual will also be in the campervan to refer to and you can always call us while on the road too.
We'll also ensure you have the manual sent out to you in advance - some bedtime reading!
Due to the size of our VW campervan, no toilets are onboard.
We do have a portable toilet and tent that can be hired at an additional cost, though this of course adds to the kit you'll be carrying on board.
At present, hirers must stay within the UK for the duration of your hire.
Note - A tracker is fitted to the campervan, to meet our insurance requirements.
We always find the two gas ring hob helps heat things up but we also have heaters just behind the driver seat which runs off diesel. There is even a handy control where you can set timers and temperature.
As a fully converted VW T6 Highlight with pop up roof, you can fit up to four. Two sleeping downstairs on the rock n roll bed (back seats pull out and lie flat) plus two upstairs in the pop up roof.
This is ideally suited to 2 adults and 2 children though with additional awning and storage, you could travel as four adults but recognise that between driving and sleeping, things may feel a bit 'small'. We'd def recommend adding the awning onto your hire for additional outside space and consider using the odd campsite (or all campsites) throughout your hire.
Again .. like dogs, we'd be happy to advice on what will be the most comfortable set up for you.
