Hand Strip Service
This grooming technique takes the dead outer coat from your dog by hand, rather than cutting with clippers. Note that we can only book a handstripping appointment after your furiend has been in to have their coat assessed by one of our qualified dog groomers.
We do this to ensure it is the right option for your dog as age, temperament, coat condition can all impact the ability to hand strip.

Quite often we’re asked - when should my puppy have their first groom? The short answer is now!
We have two courses within our puppy university tailored to furiends who will require clipping ongoing or short haired breeds. However, each session gradually builds their experience of all noises and feelings associated with grooming, culminating in them graduating with their first full groom.
Pawsitive Grooming University
Is your dog over 6 months old but struggling with the grooming process either at home or in a grooming environment? It’s never too late to turn a nervous or fearful furiend into a confident pup!
Through an initial consultation we’ll identify the areas of main concern and agree a joint plan with you to help overcome their fears. It may take time and effort from both of us - but with some hard work and patience, pawsitive grooming is pawsible!
