Dog Friendly Shops and Services in Carnoustie

#1  Belle’s

Whether you’re searching for a card, gift or wedding accessories, pop by to see Angela at Belle’s.  I’m currently trying to fill up our Terramundi style money pot purchased from her recently and love her fab rotating window displays!  She’s a pro at gift wrapping too – just try to give her a little notice particularly during the festive season!

Water bowl available outside and treats too – woof!

Address:  70 High Street, Carnoustie. DD7 6AH

Find out more about Belle’s, including opening hours, via their Facebook Page HERE.

#2  Brunton Design

We had the paw-easure of meeting Stitch from Burnton Design at one of our very first Prosecco and Puppy parties at Gather. We quickly checked out her very own page on the team’s page which you can find HERE!

#3  Carnoustie Tyres & MOT Centre

We’re big fans of this super dog friendly garage, who’ll fuss over your pooch with dog treats and water.  Whether you are looking for MOT testing & Repairs, Vehicle Servicing, Paint & Body work Repairs, Engine Diagnostics, 24 Hour Recovery, and Exhausts or to buy tyres, they’ll have you covered!

Top Tip – take the opp-paw-tunity to book in a valet with Jacks’ valet just opposite Carnoustie Tyres.  As an owner of one mud-covered, dirty spaniel, I was more than impressed by the valet they did in my car!

Address:  100a Barry Rd, Carnoustie. DD7 7QU

Find out more via the Carnoustie Tyres & MOT Centre website HERE.

#4  Fin and Co

Pam and the team are warm and welcoming focusing on making sure they match with you the right hairstylist for that perfect style and colour. They’ll welcome in furry furiends if you ask in advance though we have several customers who book in their dog grooms at the same time so that both owner and furry furiends get their haircuts at the same time ;0).

Address:  1A High Street, Carnoustie. DD7 6AN

Find out more via Fin & Co’s website HERE.

#5  Fobel

Still not replaced that lightbulb?  Need some fixings for that DIY project?  While it may look small from the outside, Fobel is an amazing hardware store in our town and that has often helped me out when I’m not sure what I’ve been looking for!

Make sure you have a few spare treats for Parker, the resident Dashchound, though if you’re lucky he may also share his treats ;0).

Address:  1-3 Park Avenue, Carnoustie.  DD7 7JA

Find out more via Fobel’s Facebook Page HERE.

#6  Gather

While you’ll find Gather featured in our Millie’s Guide to Carnoustie: Dog-Friendly Places to Eat in Carnoustie, don’t forget that Gather is also an amazing Deli and Greengrocers with the added benefit of a great gin and craft beer section.

I;m a HUGE fan of their sourdough bread and cheese counter though Millie is partial to fresh strawberries too!

#8  Millers of Carnoustie

One of my favourite buildings in Carnoustie, Millers have renovated an old church into an amazing space. Over two floors, and alongside their warehouse in Ferrier Street, they can help you furnish any room in your home (or business).

Whether it’s a new carpet or flooring, a new sofa for those cosy nights in over winter, blinds or furniture, they can help you choose something to fit your style.

Rumour has it that they even have a dog that tests out a sofa for ‘dog-friendly-ness’ #mydogeatssofas ;0)

Her shop is full of amazing gifts plus incense, crystals, mystical creatures and everything you can think of if you’re a bit ‘witchy’ too! We love the Harry Potter gifts and lavender incense which we use in the shop (can help with calming dogs!).
