Planning a few days in Angus visiting friends and family? Or are you looking for a stopover on route to do the North East 250? Or do you just fancy chilling out on Carnoustie’s stunning coastline for a few days? Whatever reason you have for your stay, you and I know that if you are reading this, then your best furiend is coming with you. And that means finding dog-friendly accommodation in Carnoustie.
The great news is that there are a few options for you in Carnoustie including hotels and self-catering. And I’ve pulled them all into this one blog so you don’t need to go hunting around.
Do remember to book early if you are planning to stay over during peak holiday periods. With that ‘small’ golfing event called The Open returning to Carnoustie this year and the V&A Dundee opening their doors, it’s looking like one very busy summer!

Just back from a couple of nights here. Took our two dogs and stayed in room 1 well worth paying a little extra for bigger room. Dogs were really welcome and staff were fabulous. Will definitely recommend to all my doggy friends and stay again. Carole Duthie, March 2017
